Here are some green clay masks to try out!

Green clay is the main ingredient in a lot of cosmetic masks recipes: it absorbs impurities and excess fat, tonifies the skin, soothes inflammation and removes dead cells. It is also very useful in the treatment of acne.

Rich in calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper and potassium, green clay is especially recommended for people with oily skin. Externally, it is used for its absorption, softening, purification, and healing properties. Thus, green clay masks favors the closing of dilated pores, removes the glossy skin look and even treats acne.

If your skin is fat, mix in a bowl 3 tablespoons of honey and one of green clay until you get a homogeneous mixture. Apply the paste to your face using your fingers, in circular movements. Avoid the eye and mouth areas. Apply the mask, leave it for about 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Honey moisturizes the skin and the clay cleanses it. Thus, your skin will be softer than ever!

Insist on areas affected by acne and avoid the eyes, eyelids and mouth. Leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with room temperature water.

Green clay, cucumber & acacia honey mask

This facial mask is excellent for pale skin, which lacks that vitality look. It will help you get rid of the tired look, as well as the bags under your eyes. Rinse a cucumber, cut 2 slices, and then punch them with a fork until you get a smooth paste. Add 2 tablespoons of acacia honey and 2 tablespoons of green clay. Mix the composition well, then apply on your face and hold for about 15 minutes. The clay removes the dead skin cells and, in combination with the cucumber, helps hydrate and cleanse the face. Your skin will get a fresh, bright and neat look.
