Healthy Christmas snacks for children

From the typical holiday recipes there is no shortage of sweet cake, sugar cakes and, of course, candy. And when the little ones want to eat everything during this period, you have to make a special effort to make sure that they can have the healthiest snacks, because the excess sugar can be harmful to children.

 

Fortunately, there are plenty of festive and healthy Christmas snacks to choose from. You can easily change many of these sugary snacks with any of these adorable snacks that have vegetables and fruits. In addition, these healthy snacks are so festive and fun that your kids will probably ask to eat them again, even after the holidays.

 

Santa Claus Strawberries

With a strawberry as a hat and homemade cheese beard, these delicious holiday desserts are fun and fun.

 

Ingredients:

  • 12 strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 quarter cup of cheese

 

Method of preparation: Remove the leaves of the strawberries, cut a thin piece of strawberry, then a thin piece of banana, spread over the thin slice of banana cream cheese (it can be yogurt instead of cheese) and make a delicious Santa looking snack!

 

Christmas balloons

They are made from healthy and sweet ingredients.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cleansed curds
  • 1/3 cup dried blueberries
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, almonds or pecan nuts (of choice)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut butter or ordinary butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons coconut, cocoa

 

Method of preparation: Soak the berries and blueberries in a small glass or bowl with warm water for 15 minutes (or until softened). When the fruits are soft, drain and mix, until the “dough” becomes quite dense and sticky. From the mixer mix balls form the size of a spoon. Wrap each ball with the chosen topping (walnuts, almonds, pecan nuts, cocoa), place on a plate and then place in the refrigerator.

 

Banana Snowman

These little snowmen with bananas are a healthy snack, and at the same time they are festive and fun for the kids.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • a quarter of carrot
  • 3 strawberries
  • 6 grapes
  • a handful of raisins
  • 6 chopsticks

 

Method of preparation: Cut the bananas into thick slices. Peel the carrot and cut it into small triangular trunks for a pointed nose. Cut the strawberry lid and then cut it in half. You should get two hats out of each strawberry. Cut the grapes in half. To assemble, put three slices of banana on each fridge, then the strawberry hat and half of the grapes. Put raisins on eye and buttons, and carrot on nose. You can cut everything, put all the pieces in separate bowls and then let the little ones assemble the snowmen.
